helooo there...
i just finished my 2-day Customer Appreciation Day last week. Deymmm..it was a good exposure, seriously.. Like, who in the blue hell lah can get me familiarize with all those issues in just 2 days. Just 2 demm days. Maaann... There were so many unhappy people in this company. My heart and sympathy went to those unlucky lot who were mostly depressed and extremely demotivated about their future progression. Whateva issue that I could answer and solve right there and then, have already been done. Some needed further follow-ups. But seriously.. I was quite taken aback by some of the issues raised by them. I mean, banyak nye kelemahan-kelemahan yang agak ketara yang rase-rase nye, if any means of prevention wasn't taken, soon many ppl will be leaving and those who stayed would stay depressed. I am sure that the management would have their own explanation and reasons on this but retaining the most important resource of all which is manpower is far more critical.
the nicest good luck charm that someone could get to start a big day ahead =)
anyways, on a lighter note, i did many socially-interesting things the past few days. movies, hanging out, makan2 (more like melantak), kenduri kahwins, wedding receptions, meeting old friends etc etc.. full okk social calendar! and im on leave next week. Wuhooo!! Indah indah..I am mentally planning what I wanna do nantik. tak sabar okk!! Mrs.Boss will be missing me so dem much! Muahahahahaha.....

oooh-la-la
Yep we did go to Rock The World 7! Yeeaaahh!! I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the whole rock-thing. We arrived a bit late, around 4.30-ish. By that time the concert has already started and swarmed by kazillions of ppl. Raaaaammaaaaiiii gile manusia okkk!!! Most of them were youngsters/teens/kids/whateva, high school leavers I reckon. Me and Sharil looked like we were almost out of place since most concert-goers had black t-shirts on. That emo-punk-rock kinda thing. Well, you know la what I mean kan. Kids nowadays... *geleng kepala* (Haha..) There were 3 stages ; the Main Stage, Indie Stage and last but not least the Discovery Stage. The weather was hoooot i tell you. I particularly was drenched in sweat. Since the sun was freaking hot & burning, everyone was practically sweating and smelly. Hoho. Don't wanna go into details abt BO here but I'm sure you can use your imagination (something like being stuck in a sardine-ed lrt on your way back from office...ring any bells??) Anyhou, the performance were awesome y'all!!!! We constantly went back & forth between the Main and Discovery stage. Main Stage was where the major rock acts performed. Namely Pop Shuvit, Love Me Butch, One Buck Short, LO, Koffin Kanser etc etc. The crowd was massive! And wild!!! But I'd say that the Discovery Stage was much more entertaining. Personally i think, what they had there was super-duper-absofuckinglutely-fantabolouss!! Bands like Brainhead, Isaac Entry, They Will Kill Us All, to name a few, and of course Reza Salleh, were just goooood!!! I assumed tht I'd be going home early coz of the hot weather and band mase ptg tu pun so-so jek.. But then, after Maghrib break, it was getting better!
So anyways, picturessss.....!!!
i think this was Isaac Entry.
band yg best tapi x ingat nama
with a lead singer who very much looked like Creed's Scott Stapp. (tp jurukamera dengkiiiiiiii saje amik gamba gelap!!!!!)
drenched in sweaaaaaattttttt...
reza salleh!!!!! *drool drool* =P (but seriously this guy was good! check out his gig schedule or go visit his personal site.
So yeah ppl, I had a helluva fun last Saturday! Thanks to you! =)

"Sisters annoy, interfere, criticize. Indulge in monumental sulks, in huffs, in snide remarks. Borrow. Break. Monopolize the bathroom. Are always underfoot. But if catastrophe should strike, sisters are there. Defending you against all comers " - Pam Brown -

nostalgic me
My eyes hurt like hell today. (Must be the aftermath of crying last night). Several hours are enough to make them sore, red and painful tahap dewa. The eye-bags? Getting worse than ever. Talking about eye bags, I guess my eyes will never be the same again. Like you know, where once upon a time, I used to have a pair of big sparkling (I'm exaggerating) eye-bag free eyes, without any trace dark circle under them. And now! There are these nasty bags under me eyes! Hate it and hope it will go away someday. Having them just makes me look like some crazy old lady (with a hip collection of shoes and heels)…or like I was dragged in by an angry stray cat. On another note, how was everyone's weekend? Mine was so-so. Having your boyfriend away in some hulu place for a month plus was definitely taxing (yes, I'm insanely missing you ok! =( Come back soon..) But it was a positive change of air I must say and not that bad really. Now that I'm literally single temporarily (ahemm..) this is the time for me to splurge on non-stop window-shopping, real shopping, coffee with my girlfriends, lunch with my PIPE friends, movie with Sha (my bagaikan belangkas officemate. Plus Ajlaa, we are the triplets! Hoo-Yeaaah!!Haha..). Like today, I had lunch with Huda and Kimah and was later joined by Mapen and Hasfuan. It was great. We had so many things to talk about. Just like the good old days when we shared all kinds of gossips. It reminded me of the times when Kimah and Huda were housemates and I stayed just a floor below them. I still remember when our own antique but definitely useful little green car had a flat tyre when we were at Toowong celebrating Kimah’s birthday at Sizzler. Left with no choice, the 3 of us, Kimah, Baya and me walked home. Maka menapaklah kami dr Toowong ke St Lucia. It wasn't that near but we made it a fun 20-30 minutes journey to walk through. Dahla dah malam. Our neighbourhood was quite ok as generally the Aussie community was the mind-your-own-business type but friendly and helpful. Ragut-free and samun-free (during my time there laa, at least). Just beware of the stok-stok pemabuk yang akan lupa diri and also the homeless or those who looked like them. The kutu-kutu jalanan. I was harassed once at Indoroopilly Mall when waiting for the bus. Unlucky me, I was alone at that time. There was this one shabby guy who came out of nowhere. He came up to me up front and yelled something like, "Go back to your f***ing Arab country!" Ok first I was soo damned shocked. Tak terkata apa. Rupa dahla garang. I just managed to keep quiet and rushed off from where I was standing to a safer place, which was inside the mall itself. I noticed that angry, scruffy guy was still eyeing me as I walked. Thank God he didn't follow me ke hape or continue menjerit2 tak tentu arah at me. But still I could hear him mumbling words of harassment at me. And most importantly I was really grateful that at least he wasn't being physical like pulling my tudung or pushing me etc. And at the same time I saw a few policemen nearby. Pheww! Arab country? Ikut suka hati je. Ingat perempuan Arab je pakai tudung dalam dunia ni? Pakai tudung je Arab. Huh! Obviously I didn’t look Arab-ish at all. Not even a bit. Pure Melayu. Uncivilized lot!!
Anyways, I suddenly miss Brisbane, its people, the precious memories (countless!), my fellow friends; some of them are still there and some of them have graduated and embarked on their own paths. I miss my old room waaay back in Campus Lodge. I miss the booming music at Cromwell College and the loud partygoers during their so-called welcoming bunkers. I miss walking all the way the peaceful path heading to the IT Comp Lab. I miss hating those difficult practicals in one of the comp labs and secretly wished that session was cancelled or the system down or the lab was burnt down. I miss having a cute male Aussie tutor in my Business tutorials. I miss stopping by the small-wheeled-coffee-stall and ordered "One hot vanilla latte with skimmed milk!". I miss listening to the live bands playing just outside the Uni cafeteria (Sometimes they had students break dancing!) on Thursday afternoons. I miss the Wednesday Market where they had variety of knick-knacks, vintage clothing, cheap second-hand books and of course the funky badges. I miss having Sushi, Kebab or the freshly handmade pizzas for lunch. I miss the evening walks through the jogging path by the Brisbane River. I miss watching movies at the super-enormous Southbank cinema. I miss wandering in the Brisbane city alone, window-shopping at Valley Girl, had a Yam Milk Tea Bubble Tea and then took the citycat home. I miss having waffles with caramel with iced choc at the Pancake Manor's. I miss hanging out with a bunch of girlfriends late at night at the cool Three Monkeys. I miss Soiree. I miss Ekka. I miss Sexpo (Hahaha..). I miss Chinatown with its small stalls selling cool vintage stuff. I miss saying thank you while getting off the bus and had the bus driver replied,"No worries!". I miss a lot more things that are too many to be listed here. I wish that one day I could return back to Brisbane and do all these, again.

Friday is just a few hours away
Okay i cant wait for tomorrow to come. Coz i have a few fun things coming up. besides the fact that Friday has always been my favourite day. will be having a Briefing Session on Customer Appreciation Day tomorrow in the morning, which will take almost half of my working day. Lesser working hours left. Yeayy!! Then lunch, which I'm planning to go sauna at TTFC (Haha.. I am vain now ppl!!) Nooooo, not vain but it's called self-indulgence. Sometimes a girl just need to pamper herself and do a lil' bit of taking-care-of-my-body stuf. I loike!! Then in the evening, will be going to this Steps class with Naj and Nikki at Fitness First. Thank you for the free pass darlings! More sauna afer that.. I am looking forward going to this class since I really wanna spend quality time with my much-loved GFs (and also to drench in sweat ;p).
They were like, "So I heard ur laling is away for a month for Orientation. So r u singing "lonely...i'm so lonely....there's nobody to call my own ooohhhhh" Hahaha.. Then, "It's a date laa tomorrow. No confirm confirm later aaaa.."(referring to our gym class tomorrow)
Hahaha.. Because it's been a while since I last attended a lepak session with everybody there. They complained that it was a bit hard to get hold of me since I was a bit occupied lately with, ahem, dating. Heheh.. Of course maa. My 'laling' is going away for 1 mth so I need to optimize whateva time that is left. Now that my 'laling' is already enjoying himself to the max tahap tak hengat dunia with nutin to do but having fun 24/7 (hehe), I'm all yours!
Then later after gym, I am accompanying my sist to watch a movie. Not just any normal movie. But a Hindi movie. Gosh! What have I got myself into? (its ok najwa, you'll be fine. Just inhale deeply.....Now exhaleeee..) Hope it's a good movie. Or else I'll just force myselff to doze off for that 3 long hours of watching the carefully and beautifully selected panoramic views as the background off pretty actresses and hunky actors dancing and miming songs.
Cepatlaa Friday!!!

the art of claiming
No matter how advance the technology is, an eye for details is still of great importance. terbukti sitem yang canggih yang hanya memerlukan jari untuk menekan beberapa butang penting, tidak dapat dipercayai sepenuhnya jika penglihatan yang tajam untuk penelitian tiada. or is our SAP system yang mengong? (bad najwa baadd..no blaming pls on a Tuesday morning) Fine fine.. if not, maybe i-Perintis isn't playing its function (Duuh! This is like, a truth well-known to all even without me blaming or ppl pointing fingers). Isn't a system of a certain technology should be well-equipped, time and cost-saving and most importantly, hassle-free? If the system isn't fulfilling these criteria baik pakai manual jer sumer. Huh!! That old makcik certainly has got a point in this. No wonder she's still using the ol' school way of checking & double-checking every single thing. Anyhow, I kept sending and resending my electronic claim form to the much-dislike mrs.boss. It was a HASSLE doing this coz I got tonnes of much more important work to be done and also I need the money. Setakat 10, 2o hinggit tu boleh laa pejam sebelah mata je. Ni beratus ok! It wasn't her money pun yang will deducted in the first place if she approves my claim. Ntahla. I just don't see why she was making such a big fuss over a tiny-miny thing like this. And it didn't affect her credibility or whateva sh*t pun as a superior. And it wasn't hard at all to click the "Approve" button and let the system do the rest. Geez... Sungguh dengki.
