by the way
"By the way I tried to say
I'd be there... waiting for..."
By the way, i think loyalty is such a huge word for a person, like me, who think of frivolous things most of the time.. True it can be instilled and nourished and with God's help, be successful. But when you have experienced betrayal and nothing but negativity (most of the time), tell me, how could you learn to love and be passionate about it?
This was what i had been thinking of, almost the whole day when i attended the Barometer Workshop last Friday. it was meant for us*(from all walks of life: secretaries, non-executives, executives, managers)to get together and come out with ways to identify current mindset and behaviour of the division. It has done a pretty good job to help us gauge and visualize the pic of success that our division want. Throughout it all, issues like professionalism, integrity and many other vital values were discussed. When loyalty was being deliberated, i couldnt help but wonder about it over and over again... It was so funny when we were talking about these while the reality was different. My scepticism just got the better of me, i guess. But in a way, bagus lah jugak since early steps are being taken to try and change things to be better.
anyhow, on a lighter note, Faizal OIAM is going to be at Tower 1 tomorrow for that singing competition thingy, people! Self-reminder:I AM SOO GONNA BE THERE!! Eheh....

jauh jauh / from a-far
From a-far
Way beyond the mountain green
White sands
Await the azure sea
The waves break
Faintly whispering
Are the breezes that blow
Carrying my message to her
So sad
When I think of the past
Far away
The memories have been left behind
Lost, and consumed by the waves
That call to her
Leaving me alone
To remember her from a-far
(sean ghazi is a genius..)

weekend aftermath
i managed to comply to my things-to-do list during the weekend. i ate and slept and bersuka-ria till i found it hard to sleep last nite. Oh maybe i was still excited that The Lima won! Hehe..I wasnt a sucker for reality shows esp tht involed singing but Gangstarz kinda captured my attention. Anyhouuu.. The Lima won last night (i know this may sound ridicolous but that Taura was cuteeeee in a gay-ish kinda way. Hahaha.. He has great hairstyle and funky sense of fashion) My dvd player was temporarily shut down. i did watch waris jari hantu and shrek 3. but dua2 dvd hang in the mid of the movies. ngok! so i spent my lovely weekend to finish up reading Match Me If You Can. i am not usually fond of chic lit BUT this one was really good, i tell ya'! it managed to make me laugh (sorang2 cam org gile), smile (like org angau) and surprisingly make me shed a tear or two. (maybe this part wasn't so surprising sgt since i do cry at movies too. Hehs..) Blame it all on PMS. (or else i wouldn't be THAT emotional just by reading a chic-lite :p) But all in all, it was a good mind-relaxation practice. I need to do this more!

match me if you can..
is the book that i am currently reading. i have been rereading my Sidney Sheldon's since i dont have new reading materials to indulge in, unless if you count in Female and Marie Claire and Cosmo. Hehs.. But truth is, i used to read a lot. I read books, newspapers, articles, educational magazines and i even read the newspaper article at the back of nasi lemak wrapper. Back then, everthing seemed to interest me. I also continued my passion to read during the uni years. Though it was a bit challenging to juggle time between reading Programming-Guide-For-Idiots and the highly entertaining biographies of the rich and famous. The point is, I still tried to find the time to read. But now, interestingly, I just couldnt slot the reading-leisurely time in my daily routines. Padahal, bukannya busy sangat 24/7 pun. Okla there were times when i was busier than the queen bee, where i had late nights, and unpurposely ignored or forgotten lunch/dinner dates. I think i need to get myself some new good books since it has been a while, dont u think? Looks like someone needs to cut down on shoe budget next month. Dang!

post-birthday-celebration
somebody pls hit at the back of my head with a large trout. im still in the mood to celebrate :p
regardless the fact tht i know it's a bit too late to say my thank yous but what the heck kan. So,thank you people for the lovely birthday smses and wishes. it reminded me that i wasnt forgotten =)and the lovely birthday presents. thank you! (rai, thanks for the baskins! aku suda gemok okkk). and oso naj (for lunch@chillis). and oso yana (the kains). zaza (for the yummy cupcakes). etc etc..and the list goes on..
ok macamane nak cakap kat org yg tgh tunggu lift sesame tht i just got back from the gym when asked, "makan mane tadi?" I was just too lazy to elaborate my answer since, if i answered ,"taklah pegi gym tadi", they would continue waahh-ing at my statement and gave me this either sceptical or amazed look. and then the conversation would continue to "rajin nyee. diet eeh?" in which i totally hated to answer. and selalunye aku malas nak jawap di tengah khalayak ramai dlm lift yg sememangnye ramai org. okla. allow me to explain. i used to go to the gym after work. but i changed my schedule to lunch time since i need to go back with my sist who's also working at Petrosains currently. coz if do my gym after work, my sist then had to wait for me plak. cam kesian plak budak tuh dok nunggu/merayau sorang2 kat kkcc ni. and since i am the sweetest big sister that my younger sist could ever asked for, maka my lunch time is gym time now. but it was great actually to go to gym during lunch coz that was when all the expats, meaning, the foreigners worked out! Seeing foreigners there just reminded me so much about Brisbane (aside from the part where i get to cuci mate sikit2. hehs. kidding!)when huda and i used to go to the uni gym on weekends and worked our butts off. I bumped into some of the big guns there, exercising. Rase cool sekejap, rubbed shoulders with the VIPs :p I was once too stunned this one morning, seeing this one VP lifting weights sbb beraaat dan besaaar giler okk itu weights.i mean for a guy his age.okla i dont know how old he is. but he must be a lil bit old kan? I was amazed too that he actually exercised. Coz a guy his age was always boroi and unfit. plus, a malay living in malaysia yg exercising isnt really a culture. plus, a VP must be really bz with the super tite schedule. But he does exercise! i am sooo proud being a member of this gym. Yeah, i love gym. My gym.

ahoy!!
this is a very long due entry. havent been writing and updating for quite some time. byk bende nak cite, i tell ya'! anyhow, yours truly had turned 24 on 29th. another year older, one year wiser? i hope so. *fingers crossed* Very the lazy to write on what i did on my fantabolous and super-fun birthday celebration. So i put up some pictures for you to splurge on. Ngehee.. I celebrated my 24th the weekend before 29th coz hassle okk nak bersuka-ria on a working day. Nanti kalau hangover teruk sanngat, sape nak jawab? So on a bright Saturday morning,we went to OU (my fave mall)to watch Pirates of The Carribean with badges illustrating "N" on them,on our shirts/tops. FYI, "N"= Najwa's Day. And hence the badges. I liked this 3rd Pirates better than the other 2. Coz one, i understand the stroryline waaay waay better than the first and the second. Second, Will Turner sudah berubah menjadi hantu tanpa tentakel sotong! Tak boleh aah everytime tgk jelmaan kurita Davy Jones tu sure rase cam nak muntah sbb geli. And third, why must Jack Sparrow looked so damn attractive with the wacky personality, witty jokes and lines and the kelam kabutness tapi still remain cool and calm. Watching Pirate made us (more like me) hungry.Went to have a supposedly-meant-to-be a simple lunch tapi sebab we both were really really hungry, so simple lunch itu telah bertukar menjadi quite a heavy one. Our next destination was The Curve (my all-time fave too), to have THE special dinner and of course, my birthday present (which i know what was it already since i was the one who picked it up. plus, the part yang ter kantoi bagitau itu..mueheheh..)So we went there, strolling around the flea market area looking like a couple who were very much in love (eceeehh..) and into food (apakah?!?!).. The Marche witnessed me looking stupefied receiving THE birthday present from him. Not enough seeing grinning from ear to ear, i was surprised again for the 2nd and the 3rd pressies. Now tell me why is shouldnt be feeling ecstatic? *grins* No piccies for this since I remembered it so well that i didnt need pictures to help me :) On 29th, i had another celebration with my friends. This time around, Gloria's was the vital witness of the whole happy bunch celebrating my birthday. Piccies peeps!
finally my own cupcakes! after much drooling and lusting just by looking at them. hehs..
im 24 y'all!!
Aseana's yummy cuppy. thanks to YOU >_<
